it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The beginning of a new school year can bring a lot of joy to some students, but to others, it can be a little daunting. Our school mainly consists of students from lower-income households. Buying so many school supplies to start the school year can really add up fast for a family that is trying to make ends meet. Students might feel self-conscious when they see others with all brand-new supplies.
Let us help every child start the year with everything they need!
With this project, every child will have the supplies they need for second grade. From composition notebooks to pencil pouches full of writing and drawing tools.
This year, I will have two second-grade classes, so I am asking for enough supplies for each student. Some students are new to the country, some students are students with special needs. Everyone deserves to have an opportunity to have what they need to help them learn.
