My Project
My project will help my students be prepared for school and help the students stay engaged in learning. The sand trays will be used during our small group time to practice letter writing, CVC word writing and sight word writing. I love that they come with cleaners and writers. That will keep their little fingers out of the sand. Also, my classroom is an integrated classroom; half the students have special needs and the other half are peer models. The sand trays will be helpful for students with tactile needs.
All the students in my classroom will start the school year with a new supply box filled with NEW crayons, a pair of scissors, pencils, glue sticks, dry erase markers and erasers.
The dry erase pockets will be used throughout the year for name wiring and math practice.
