This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It is well known that students learn best when their basic needs are met. The supplies requested in this project will not only allow me to meet those needs but to also motivate and incentivize student success.
Help us start the year off right!
We have late lunch and it can be tough for 2nd graders to focus when they are hungry. I have asked for snacks like Scooby Snacks, fruit snacks, and popcorn so that I can provide my students with an easy pick me up when needed.
I have also requested water bottles. These will ensure my students have easy access to water throughout the day.
Squishees, stress balls, stickers, Baby Bottle Tops, Push Pops, and Pop Rocks are also on the list. These will act as classroom prizes to motivate students as part of my classroom management system.
Lastly, I have asked for Clorox Wipes and a floor sweeper to help us keep our classroom clean throughout the year.
