My students are an amazing group of kids. They are enthusiastic about school and embrace everything we do in class. They love reading, P.E., math, and science. Our school is a kindergarten through eighth grade school located in rural California. It serves 450 students. Our school is surrounded by forests and mountains and has daily visitors such as geese, turkeys, and deer.
Our school has a strong academic and athletic culture.
I want to maintain our strength in these areas by continuing to provide materials to enrich my students' experiences.
My Project
I am requesting items such as crayons, pencils and file folders to start the year off right. We have been fortunate to be in school, in person, and I would love new supplies to welcome my new class.
The crayons, pencils and pens will be used daily to complete assignments.
They will be used to complete math lessons, create artwork and to correct assignments. The fil folders will be used to organize desks. The large Post-it charts will be used for group work to brainstorm, write notes and present information.
The storage boxes will be kept at the students' tables to store supplies.
