Starting the Year Off Right! 2024-25 School Year Supplies
Help me give my students the supplies to learn not just math, but also note-taking and organization skills for their futures. We will try to fill the learning gap these kids suffered during the pandemic and catch up.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each student will get their own three-ring binder to use all year. We need the paper to fill these binders. I already purchased the binders myself, but we need your help for the paper. Students will be using these binders to take notes in, and do example problems. By using three-ring binders, we will be able to reuse the binders every year and only have to replace the used paper inside, thus saving waste. Paper and pencil is the best way to learn mathematics!
Many studies have shown that children learn mathematics better when they work out problems on actual paper, rather than on a screen.
After too many years online through the pandemic, I hope to teach these kids all the math skills they missed, reinforce the ones they only touched on, and expand their abilities to include the organizational and note-taking skills that can be applied to all other subjects, as well as future careers.
