My Project

In a classroom filled with energetic and curious elementary school students, cleanliness is essential—not just for comfort, but for everyone’s health and safety. Young learners touch everything: desks, door handles, shared supplies, and each other. Germs spread fast in this kind of environment, and having basic cleaning supplies on hand—like disinfectant spray and wipes—helps us stay ahead of sickness. A clean classroom means fewer absences and more time for students to engage in learning without the interruption of colds, flus, or stomach bugs.

Kleenex may seem simple, but it makes a big difference.

Many of my students come to school with runny noses, especially during allergy and cold seasons. With boxes of tissues readily available, we’re able to minimize the spread of germs and teach kids how to take care of themselves responsibly. It also helps preserve students’ dignity—they don’t have to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable asking for a tissue or being without one when they really need it.

Baby wipes are another small item that has a big impact. Whether we’re cleaning up sticky hands after a science experiment, wiping down surfaces after a messy project, or handling the daily spills that come with elementary life, baby wipes help us keep things tidy in a gentle, non-irritating way. They’re especially helpful for students with sensitive skin. Overall, these everyday supplies help create a classroom environment that feels cared for, where students can focus on learning and feel safe and supported every day.
