My Project

My Algebra 1 students in New Orleans are brilliant, curious young people of color who deserve a classroom filled with joy, purpose, and possibility. I work to make math meaningful by connecting lessons to their lived experiences and encouraging them to use problem-solving to better understand and improve their communities. With your support, I can provide essential supplies like paper, markers, chart paper, and cleaning materials to create an organized, vibrant, and welcoming space. Your contribution helps build a classroom where students feel seen, supported, and excited to learn every single day.
