Starting over! Going from fifth grade to second grade!
This project aims to provide age-appropriate, engaging books to all second-grade students at [School Name], fostering a love for reading and supporting literacy development at a critical stage in their education.
We plan to build mini-classroom libraries and offer take-home book bags to encourage reading both in school and at home.
Goals
Improve reading fluency and comprehension among second graders.
Increase access to a variety of books that reflect diverse cultures and interests.
Encourage family engagement in students' reading habits.
Why It Matters
Research shows that access to books at an early age significantly improves literacy skills. Unfortunately, not all students have books at home. By providing free, high-quality books, we help close this gap and support lifelong learning.
