This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project has miscellaneous items to help start this year off right for these 3rd graders. From our class "pet", to cleaning materials, to math small group games, this project is going to be a great welcomer to help students start off right.
The first weeks of school will be focused on helping students get back into the routine and learning expectations in the classroom.
Prizes and incentives for those that are learning are great motivators to set the tone of the class. Additionally, the math card games are great small group rotation activities and are an engaging way to help students learn their multiplication facts.
