My Students
Everyday, I am lucky enough to encounter the amazing imaginations of my students. They are so expressive with their ideas and stories. By the end of the year, I want them to be able to successfully capture these stories in treasured pieces of writing that they can be proud of.
My students are members of a small learning community in Southwest Philadelphia.
They are an energetic group that never want to stop learning. My students attend the only public Montessori school in the city. This style of learning has allowed them to become independent, self-driven learners.
My Project
These writing resources will allow my students to create and produce treasured pieces of writing. They will be able to learn and follow the steps of the writing process. Their work will also be stored in neat folders that will help keep them organized. The materials will allow their writing to be aligned with the Common Core Standards.
These writing materials will make the writing process a more fun and less stressful process for my students.
