My Project
Working in an under-resourced neighborhood, getting school supplies is often left up to the teacher. Every student is worthy and needing of a meaningful education, and that comes with basics like pencils, markers, and crayons. My school does not provide these essential items for my students.
Learning is essential, and so are the supplies necessary to make it happen.
I intend to use the basic supplies to ensure that each child gets the tools necessary to have success in school and the world around them. Things such as crayons, pencils, scissors, and dry-erase markers will be used daily to learn letters, numbers, and pictorial expression. Bins and storage will be used to keep the space free of clutter so that learning can be the prime focus.
Every child deserves an effective and meaningful education. With these supplies, their education can begin and flourish.
