Starting Early: Help My Kinders Fall in Love With Learning
Help me give my students a truly interactive, hands on, engaging school year where they can fall in love with learning with these magnifiers, ink pads, and learning sets.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A child's love of education begins with positive experiences, both in the classroom and out. In our classroom, we believe learning should be fun. Most of my students, have not only never attended any form of school before, but also have parents who work long hours and don't have much time to dedicate to teaching at home. Our goal for this year is to set a strong foundation that will serve them for years to come.
These games and manipulatives will help my students fall in love with learning.
Making learning fun and engaging, your contributions will allow them to have centers and stations throughout the year. Things like magnifying glasses to do investigations on different things from classroom toys to acorns and things in nature. Math games to help them understand and practice with sorting, adding and subtracting, and one to one correspondence. Literacy games to help them identify both their upper and lower case letters and their sounds, and even begin reading!
With each activity, you are providing a class with a new, fun way to understand their numbers, letters, and the world around them. We thank you for your contribution.
