My Project
With this 3D printer, we will begin an after-school program teaching students how to create and print 3D models.
The goal of this program is to create an interest and buzz about 3D printing, that we can grow it into a full-time class.
We are hoping to encourage our student to look at the world of STEM in a new light. Many of our students see STEM as something nontangible. With a 3D printer, we can bring the world of imagination and math to life.
Being that we are a regular Middle School, our students do not have access to all the attractive new technologies that Charter and Magnet schools get. This is not right. Every student should get to experience the latest in technology, no matter which school they attend.
Our hope is that through this program, our students will be inspired to follow an education and then a career in a STEM program.
