Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is in need because we have furniture that is falling apart. It is a hazard to our students. We want to make our room safe for our students. Our goal is to make our room a place where our students can thrive. We would like to put in new furniture that is functional. Our students are special because even though they have limitations, they don't let it stop them.
We encourage independence so we need furniture that won't crumble when they try to do it on our own.
We like our students to put away items on their own, to take charge in their education and to advocate for themselves.
