This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items on this list will help both myself as the educator and the students in my classroom start the school year strong and prepared. Having essential supplies like pens, paper, laminating sheets, and other teaching tools allows me to create customized, engaging resources tailored to the unique needs of my special education students.

With these materials, students will access clear visual aids, hands-on learning activities, and durable materials that students can access independently — building their confidence and encouraging active participation.

Pens and paper help students practice essential skills like writing, drawing, and communication, while laminating sheets let me make reusable resources that withstand daily use.

By equipping the classroom with these tools, I can better support every student’s learning style and provide a structured, welcoming environment where they feel empowered to grow.
