Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have included some basic supplies that my students will need to start the school year, including folders, notebooks, and dry erase boards. These items are essential to participation in the classroom, but can be costly for families to purchase on their own. Most years, students enter my classroom with nothing but their backpack.
I want every child to have the supplies they need to be successful, without having to worry about the financial strain this may cause their family.
Although there are many supplies that I purchase on my own and provide to my students, it is always a blessing to share that responsibility with my community, through the power of DonorsChoose.
