This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year my group of kindergarten students are very active! They come running into the building, excited to greet each other with smiles and hugs! When my students arrive in the morning, they put their stuff away and are given the opportunity to have a soft start to the day. By allowing my students to have a soft start, I am allowing them time to be social with their friends, creative with their minds and time to settle into the day before starting a busy day of work! I am requesting Magnetic Building Blocks, Star Flex Toy Building Sets and more. The items I have added to this project will provide more opportunities and new hands on materials for my students to work with each morning!
