This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a diverse group of students in an international middle school in Montgomery County. They come from a variety of backgrounds, each bringing their own unique stories to our class. I want to empower my students to be confident and successful while embracing their cultural backgrounds.

My Project

Our science classroom is full of fun and engaging activities. We do experiments, make models of science phenomena, and work in groups. The students love to come to science class and dig into their latest project or hands- on activity.

This environment often, (if not always), leads to messy situations.

Due to COVID-19, it is very important that our classroom is constantly cleaned and all of the surfaces that were used in these activities are disinfected. Plenty of paper towels, wipes, and even erasers to remove marks from the tables will be important to keeping our classroom in good shape.
