My Students

I am a 1st year kindergarten teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district. The students in my class come from a variety of homes and families. I will be building the foundation skills for my young learners.

My students are eager to learn and have a passion for school.

The 5 years olds in my classroom have bright smiles and a drive for learning new things. As a new teacher, I want to build concrete experiences for my students in a nurturing and creative environment.

My Project

My students will use the stools to work in their small group rotations comfortably in a compact area. The bean bag chair replacement pellets will allow me to replace the filling in current bean bag chairs and give my students a comfy place to sit on while they work on their learning centers.

The dry erase whiteboards and the reusable wipe off pockets give them ways to practice their writing and math skills in an eco friendly way.

They also give me an easy visual way to assess their skills as we work in small groups.

My students will be eager to work using these tools and build on their educational experiences. Creating a comfortable yet efficient way to build their foundations in learning.
