My Project
I love that my students can come into my classroom and feel excited by all of the color and visuals I add to the walls. I want them to LOVE coming to my classroom.
Having multiple areas within our classroom to work and read that are comfortable is imperative.
They will want to get more accomplished when they are relaxed. Keeping the students on task is important, and flexible seating allows them to choose the best way to work independently and within small groups.
In 1st grade, the students are on the floor a lot, so I would love to have more cushions and comfortable items for them to do their work and/or centers.
I love allowing “Starbucks” mode, where the students will be able to find their cozy spot and get their work done as if they were working remotely. These also help students with any disabilities that may need more movement within the classroom.
