Starbucks for PBIS

My Project

I teach at a title one school and I serve 21 amazing kindergarteners. They try so hard to show up daily and learn and be good people. We use PBIS at our school to monitor behaviors.

A gift card reward will be one of the ways to celebrate being chosen as the Honor Squadron.

We use PBIS (positive behavior intervention and support) to teach the expected behaviors and expectations in our school. Students earn points for exhibiting these behaviors and going above and beyond. We will celebrate them each month! Learners will earn a special treat as a reward for being in the top points. Financial Literacy will be taught when figuring out prices at our neighborhood Starbucks. When expectations are being followed, more learning takes place.
