This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A bookshelf is needed in our classroom to help organize curriculum and make it easier for students to access needed materials themselves during groups. Most students with disabilities that affect learning need many, many repetitions of the same skill to master it. We don't want that to get boring! A bookshelf will allow us to store a greater variety of strategies available for this repeated drill and practice.
If we can store more learning games and hands-on materials, learning will be even more engaging and fun.
An organized classroom makes for a more organized and ready-to-learn brain for teachers and students alike!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
