This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love how eager and curious my students are. They come from diverse backgrounds and each day, they bring their unique perspectives to our classroom. What excites me most is seeing how they thrive when they feel empowered to learn in a way that works for them. Many of my students struggle with staying focused for long periods, especially when seated at traditional desks. A mobile standing desk will allow them to switch positions throughout the day, which is especially helpful for those who need to move or change their posture to stay engaged.
This resource will give my students the flexibility to work in different ways and environments, promoting independence and comfort.
The storage drawer will also help them stay organized, which is key in maintaining a smooth, productive workflow. Ultimately, this desk will support their growth not just academically, but socially and emotionally, by providing them with a workspace that meets their individual needs.
