My Project
Standing desks in the classroom can significantly improve student engagement, focus, and overall health. Many students struggle with sitting for long periods, leading to restlessness and decreased attention. Standing desks offer flexibility, allowing movement that can enhance circulation and reduce fatigue. They support various learning styles and can be especially beneficial for students with ADHD or sensory needs. Research shows that physical activity boosts cognitive function, and standing desks encourage just that. Providing this option fosters a more dynamic, inclusive learning environment, helping students stay alert, motivated, and ready to learn throughout the day. It’s an investment in student success.
