Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am asking for donations to purchase a standing teacher desk for the classroom to help me be more adaptable and mobile for my students. In addition, sitting down is not really an option as a teacher and having a standing desk would make multitasking and management easier.
Being able to adjust in a classroom is a necessity.
Just as we offer our students flexible seating in a classroom, I too feel this change would greatly affect my teaching in creating a more interactive classroom. This would in turn help keep my students more engaged. I am confident that a standing desk will help improve my students' and my experience in our classroom.
