Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is for students who need extra support in reading. In order for them to get better, they have to actually like to read. I try to provide an environment that is different than the typical learning classroom. I want them to feel excited that they are here.

The standing desks and wobble stools help my students to concentrate and move freely without distracting others.

Every year I had a few more options so that all of my students can enjoy them. My goal is to have an option for each individual student. I have also requested a standing wobble board for something new to try out.
