Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class consists of 25 students who are eager to learn, all of which have free or reduced lunch due to financial limitations. My students have become driven in the area of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). They all have a desire to embrace new challenges that are placed before them and I am to deliver.
My students, who sadly due to the recent COVID Pandemic are forced to learn from home and deserve the best opportunity for success during these difficult times.
My goals are to expose my students to all academic opportunities remotely to the best of my abilities. Technology has been an ongoing challenge within the classroom and now it is a challenge to get the needed information remotely to my students who deserve the best.
My Project
In today's unpredictable world, many changes needed to be quickly implemented to cope with our new normal. One such change is that now both my students and myself are learning from home. Our homes have been turned into offices and classrooms without any tools or provisions.
A standing desk will also help increase my student engagement, thus ensuring that my lessons are always fun and engaging because thus improve my teaching efficiency.
A more animated teacher means students are interested in and excited about learning! Having a desk will improve my teaching efficiency and help instruction run more smoothly, thus allowing stamina
