Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been impacted by COVID-19, by not being able to socialize with their friends and move throughout the classroom without restrictions. Using differentiated seating will encourage my first graders to stay focused and continue learning on a specific topic. When we have different seats, they are able to get wiggles out and continue staying focused to learn. We use computers throughout the school day, having their own headphones will help students feel responsible and stay focused on their work. Using the organizer, will help students know where their headphones are placed and to take care of them. Different prizes will encourage students to be on their best behavior and continue working hard throughout the school day. Having a step stool will allow my students to safely wash their hands because our sink is a little too tall. The larger stool will help me keep my classroom decorated and using different tools like a sound wall so students can continue excelling.
