My Project
My students are energetic and fun! They love to be creative and they are very active. We have been doing fitness drills with our mats and have jumped into the mile program our school is using. I want to add some fun drills to go with our fitness routine. The activity dice and card decks look like fun. We will be able to use them outside on our fitness mats. We will crawl like a crab... and hop like a kangaroo. There are yoga moves, too! We will roll and shuffle our way to fitness. We need a holder for our iPad that is easy to transport to the track. The kids love COACH EZ... but, he's not so easy. We invented him so that I could participate in walk/running the track with my students. The iPad stand will be an easy way to have the kids track laps with the iPad. All of these items will help us reach our physical fitness goals. We want kids to have both a healthy mind and body. Moving our body helps us focus in the classroom and make healthier choices.
