Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This standing desk will be a replacement item. I purchased a standing desk over five (5) years ago and I love having it in my classroom.
Standing desks allow teachers to stand and use the surface for computers, monitors and other needed equipment and supplies.
Teachers can sit to grade student work. The adjustable height allows me to work at various heights depending on the height of my students.
Unfortunately, my current standing desk has become unstable. I’ve tightened all the screws and bolts, but the desk is very unstable and is need of replacement. I am, therefore, hopeful that some generous donor will take it upon her/himself to gift me with this item to help me continue working with my students.
