Stamp Out Disabilities, iPad Assistant to the Rescue!
Help me give my students an iPad to help my students with disabilities with the text-to-speech, apps designed to improve language skills, magnification, and closed caption. This would be a huge benefit in the classroom.

My Project
Students with disabilities or ELL, ESL students will use the iPad to improve their phonics, letter recognition, and early reading skills through interactive activities. During our ELA time students can work independently and not feel lost during the lesson.
Students will have access to their dictionaries online to translate and read to them in their native tongue or read at their own pace.
Imagine not fully understanding the language as you sit in class or your disability slows your progress, a student will lack confidence and feel dumb or stupid not realizing there are tools that can support their needs.
I have watched students make significant progress when they have the technology that can help them sound out words, learn to read, and communicate with others.
All children want to learn and need to best tools to assist them.
