My Project

My 3rd grade students have boundless energy and enthusiasm for learning! I admire their optimism and perseverance in the face of adversity that so many of the children face outside the safety of our school.

Over the last 4 years I have spent teaching, I have observed that so many students struggle to focus or sit still—especially when required to sit in the traditional and uncomfortable desks and chairs found in most classrooms.

Providing my students with flexible seating options will support their individual sensory needs. With your generous donation toward this project, you are allowing 2 diverse classes of 3rd graders to make choices about how they learn best and inspiring them to take ownership of their education today and for the rest of their lives.
