This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am transforming a once unused and overlooked classroom space into a vibrant, warm, and inviting environment where students can immerse themselves in the study of history. My students are intrinsically motivated by their genuine curiosity and passion for learning, which drives them to explore historical topics in depth. They thrive in collaborative environments where they can share ideas, challenge perspectives, and work together to create meaningful projects that showcase their knowledge.

By adding sturdy bookshelves to organize engaging resources and providing essential project supplies, I am creating a space where curiosity thrives, and creativity flourishes.

This new setup will allow students to easily access reference materials, collaborate on hands-on projects, and conduct meaningful research that deepens their understanding of historical events and perspectives.

My goal is to cultivate an atmosphere where students feel inspired and empowered to explore the past while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will serve them in the future.
