My Project
My students often struggle with self-selecting books that they will stick with and finish. Recently, I started a "New Books" section in our classroom library and I have seen books quickly get into the hands of readers who generally are more reluctant to even pick up a book.
With this project, our classroom can continue growing a love of reading for the most reluctant of readers to the students who just need a new series to grab ahold of.
These books will be placed in our "New Books" section, which was recently started with our last Donors Choose project and has been a great addition for kids to find new authors, titles, and genres that they wouldn't have selected themselves.
