Help me give my students balance ball chairs to help them focus on their STEM activities.
I have a great second-grade class made up of bilingual students, non-LEP students, special needs students, and Spanish speakers who are truly eager to learn.
Our school is located in a very low-income area at the tip of Texas, right by the border wall.
All of our children qualify for free breakfast, lunch, and dinner due to their socioeconomic status.
I am highly inspired by my little bunch of happy, hyper, and exciting children, and I am always out trying to get them everything they need to make their learning as easy and engaging as possible. I love my children!
My students have a strong desire to learn but are often hindered in a traditional classroom setup. They have a lot of energy and require lots of movement during instruction. As teachers, we need to be flexible and provide a space where students feel successful. In order for them to grow, my classroom needs new seating so they can get the most out of every lesson.
Balance ball chairs will allow my students to stay seated longer during our STEM lessons while still providing needed sensory stimulation.
Balance ball seats provide students with more appropriate ways to move during lessons while still remaining engaged and on task. This project will make their learning environment better and suit their diverse needs. Students need classrooms to feel comfortable and inviting.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
