it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hello! I'm Sra. Harris, and I'm excited to be teaching a wonderful group of kids. I've set up this DonorsChoose project to ask for your help in providing essential resources that will really make a difference in their education.
How these items will improve our learning:
Spanish Dictionaries: These will help students look up terms so they know how to navigate a non digital dictionary.
Headphones: These will create a focused learning environment when using online tools, videos, and language programs.
Cleaning Supplies: In these times, a clean and safe classroom is crucial for their health and learning.
Pencils: Simple, but vital for daily learning. These will ensure they always have the basic supplies they need.
Spanish Bingo Game: Learning while playing is fun and effective. It will make learning Spanish engaging and interactive.
Our main goals for this project are to:
Improve language skills.
Enable independent learning.
Promote a healthy and safe classroom.
Enhance creativity through engaging activities.
Our students are special because they come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique experiences to the classroom. They're eager to learn and have the opportunity to become bilingual, opening doors to cultural understanding and better future prospects.
