Young children are natural scientists, full of curiosity and eager to explore the world around them.
Squishy Circuits provide an exciting, hands-on way to introduce early learners to the fundamentals of electricity in a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate manner.
Using conductive and insulating playdough, children can create their own circuits, lighting up LEDs, powering small motors, and discovering how electricity flows—all through creative, playful exploration. As a STEM educator for four-year-olds, I strive to provide opportunities that make complex concepts tangible and accessible, fostering problem-solving skills, creativity, and critical thinking from an early age. However, access to high-quality, interactive STEM materials can be limited due to budget constraints. By supporting the purchase of Squishy Circuits for my classroom, donors will help equip young learners with the tools they need to engage in hands-on, inquiry-based learning that builds a strong foundation for future STEM success. These kits not only introduce electrical concepts but also encourage collaboration, experimentation, and perseverance—skills that are essential in any field. Your donation will directly impact my students by giving them a fun and memorable way to learn about science and engineering while sparking a lifelong love of discovery. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to making this opportunity a reality for these eager young minds.
