Help me give my students some hands on word building fun with Play-Doh and letter stamps! This will give my dyslexic students a multi-sensory approach to practice word building.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I enjoy working with my dyslexic students and am always looking for new ways to keep them engaged and excited to read and spell. Students enjoy novelty and look forward to new ways to build words in our small group time.
My students are special to me because they come to class so eager to learn to read and spell when this is the very skill they struggle with each day.
They trust me to teach them when many already feel so discouraged in their prior efforts.
Stamps and Play-Doh will be a great way to work while having fun too!
