This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in TK need to work on their fine motor skills in order to strengthen their muscles. This will help students manage their pencil grip and allow them to write and draw more proficiently. The Lakeshore Snap-bots, Magic Water Marbles and tub of dough are materials that will help students work on their fine motor skills along with activities based on the curriculum. It is a fun way of creating an activity for counting in math, sorting by color, sorting by shape, or by size.
I have used this in the past for students with high anxiety and considering how different the classroom looks this year, this can help calm students or give them a break from their work when needed.
