My Students
My classroom includes 25 students that are from the inner city. They receive free breakfast and lunch. They are curious and energetic problem solvers that would benefit from having additional resources in the class. This is most of my students' first experience in school.
My Project
Cleanliness is very important to learn in Kindergarten, as they are sharing their space with others. Students are unaware of all the surfaces that contain germs. With the facial tissues, wipes, hand soap, and broom and dust pan, I want my students to have an opportunity to have adequate cleaning and hygiene items to be safe during COVID 19 in school.
Due to the lack of ESS workers in the building, my classroom is often overlooked and not clean on a daily basis.
I sometimes have to sweep, vacuum, sanitize, and mop occasionally many areas of my room several times a week.
