Students love to feel connected and our carpet time is central to making this happen. We already have the carpet, but we need to add additional space.
Intentional seating encourages conversation during our community gathering for each class.
Students are comfortable when they have a known space and partner to talk to. My current carpet doesn't work well for this and my old carpet was disposed of during our classroom move.
We build strong citizenship skills during our carpet time through classroom meetings and brainstorming to help service our whole school community.
Choice and calming classroom materials positively affect our atmosphere. Thank you for being part of helping students become the best learners and community members they can be!
