This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are the most diverse group of kiddos. I plan to use the new books to add to our library. The new carpet would give us a new look and a nice space to sit and fellowship in our classroom. We are a title one school where our families rely heavily on us for support. It was a little sad when we lost our breakfast in the classroom grant but our families in our community are amazing and I always want my scholars to feel like our classroom is their home away from home.
With these learning materials, books and new decor, my hope is it would help engage students more about being in at school.
Having supplies like pencils, as well as a warm and inviting classroom will add to us getting to our school and class goals.
