My Students
The students that I work with, in the track & field programs at BHS, are some of the hardest working student-athletes that I have worked with throughout the years. Not only do they work hard on the athletic field, but they also put in the work in the classroom.
My student-athletes do everything they can to be successful on the athletic field and in the classroom and I would like to give them some new tools to help increase that success.
My Project
Training track & field athletes are becoming more and more about getting accurate data to help the athletes compare how they are growing over the course of the season and their whole high school career. Our goal is to help our athletes to become the fastest runners they can be, no matter the event.
With these Freelap timing chips, we will be able to add to our Freelap Timing System, help our practices run more efficiently, and allow our athletes to get better feedback about their practice performance.
Our track & field athletes will be able to improve their overall speed, which will not only lead to better marks in their running, jumping, and throwing, but also the other sports that they participate in throughout the year as well.
