Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach kindergarten at a Title I school in a low-income area where many of my students face daily challenges beyond the classroom. Our class includes both general education and special education students in an inclusive setting. I strive to make our classroom a safe haven — a place filled with kindness, encouragement, and endless opportunities to grow. We are requesting a sofa, chair pockets, floor seats, books, and other classroom essentials to support their learning and creativity. My students are bright, curious, and full of potential. They deserve the very best start to their education, and I’m committed to giving them the love and support they need to thrive.
