This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Spring is upon us. The weather is getting nicer, and the pollen will be in the air! Please help my classroom prepare.
The water bottles are needed because we were discussing ways to help the Earth.
One of the ways we discussed was to use reusable items. This will make them feel like they are doing something to help the Earth. They know, even as children, they have the power to make a difference. The water bottles will tie in with our lesson and will help the students stay hydrated, as the students will be outside more for recess.
Our school's mascot is a Bobcat, and we have a behavioral program called PAWS, so I thought the stickers would be a great touch of school spirit and a way for students to identify their water bottle.
The tissues will help us with the allergies that come with spring. Unfortunately, our district does not supply our classrooms with tissues. This is a necessity to get through the rest of the year!
