Spring Snacks for Hungry Students

Help me give my students food to keep them actively learning and connected to school.

My Project

Students have a lot of things to frustrate them. Being able to eliminate as many of the frustrations helps keep them motivated and working on the content at hand. The biggest issue for my students is hunger. They are always hungry and have always appreciated the snacks from Donors Choose.

During COIVD 19 distance learning, kids were at home with uninterrupted access to snacks.

This is one trend that has stayed consistent since we returned to school. Kids are hungry at all times of the day and they have been vocal in thier hunger and asking for food. Students and myself are excited to see additional donation funds available.

Additional items are to supplement other areas of SEL. I want to continue to celebrate birthdays. Embroidery floss is for making friendship bracelets in resource class. The classroom calculators have had a lot of use and students are frustrated that some of the calculator batteries are low. Lastly, my left handed students do not have appropriate scissors to cut out notes for interactive notebooks.
