The materials that I am requesting for my students will always be used throughout the year very often. All wireless and lapel microphones will be used for performances that students are performing in, with one being a big spring musical production of Willy Wonka Jr. We are a campus that does not have an actual auditorium, updated lights or sound system. Not all students are able to have their own lapel mic because of limited resources. My students have not been able to give an amazing show for two years due to COVID-19. This production is a huge comeback that not only students are waiting for, but parents and community members also. They have been working so hard the past few weeks to make their story come to life.
The donations to this project will help to give my students a professional Theatre experience and help make all of my students learn and appreciate the birth and creation of live Theatre.
Many of my students that were cast, this is their first time ever being a part of such a big musical. I want this to be an experience that they never forget, a learning experience, and growing experience not only as an actor or actress but as a person. With your support I want to make this the best experience for all of my students that work hard every single day.
