It is no secret that young students learn best through play and hands-on experiences. The spring materials will be incorporated into the science center, blocks center, dramatic play center (flower shop), art center, or literacy center. Our spring materials also include items used for our reduce, reuse & recycle study.
This will allow the students to explore and be fully immersed in our spring/recycle theme across all learning centers.
It is always our goal to provide students with as much access to novel materials and different avenues to be hands-on. These materials provide a fun way for our children to interact with spring and recycle-themed materials. For example, they get excited about building a garden and a house in blocks, and what better way to enhance their creativity than to provide them with as many open-ended materials as I can, so they can create.
