Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have the most amazing group of first graders this year. My students love to learn with the lights off. I thought a lamp would be a great addition to our classroom environment.

The second semester always needs a refresh of prizes and well-loved classroom items.

Students will love fresh prizes including desk pets, dinosaur trinkets, and Valentine pencils. I have some students who are obsessed with Dinos. We have broken stools and missing bulletin borders. Also, who doesn't need Lysol wipes in their classroom?

We are starting place value in math and continue the science of reading-based phonics instruction. Magnetic base ten blocks and magic magnetic reading chips will be a great addition to our learning and growth.
