This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are wonderful individuals who deserve the best education possible! They work hard and show perseverance during these challenging times. Most students come from low income families and during our time at school, virtually or in the classroom, I want to make sure they get everything they need.

My Project

The current classroom library has old metal shelving that does not give that inviting new look for the advancing students of this time. They will have a new library look with books organized in bins with a carpet and some inspiring pillows to sit on, of course at a safe distance. Furniture at schools is not something given easy due to lack of funds, so this would be greatly appreciated by anyone willing to help!

Students deserve an updated library look to invite them into the classroom library inspiring them to read!
